November 19th in more detail
Imagine a night that brings together the following:
- The best up and coming live bands in the country.
- A movie inspired by rock and roll musicals, 70’s exploitation, caper & race flicks, and slams them together with Wacky Races and Tex Avery – featuring performances from all the bands in the movie.
- A live goddamn carnival with stilt walkers, freaks, magicians, fire breathers, and oh so much more.
This is The Carny Ball. And you should be there.

Advance tickets for our September 11th launch show are now available from The Kazimier‘s website.
Come join Howard and a plethora of special guests at the live extravaganza celebrating the launch of both the Howard Be Thy Name CD album, and the Project O.R. visual album!

More line-up confirmed!
In addition to Digital DJ A/V Maria kicking off the night, we can now confirm that the Lord and Master of Hypnofolk himself, Moa will be supporting our main feature.
Few words can describe the music of Moa, but the Edinburgh Journal does a fairly good attempt: “Extravagant praise it may appear, but the guitar playing of Moa is truly astonishing… A quick glance around discovers awe pervading the room, jaws dropping, and bodies being repositioned to get a better view.”
Further acts still TBC.
5 weeks and 1 day to launch…
Yes indeedy, we’ve got just over five weeks left until the audiovisual extravaganza will explode before your very eyes at the Kazimier!
Trailer and poster art to come in forthcoming days….
Line-up soon to be announced
So far we can confirm that digital DJ “A/V Maria” will be warming up as the night kicks off.
More acts to be confirmed…
A post-launch plan has emerged…
We’ve devised a way by which the unlucky people who can’t make the Kazimier show can get to experience a fraction of the spetacularity that they would have otherwise missed on the 11th.
Opiate Films @ Make Art Studios will be hosting a scaled-down version of the show as their Biennial installation from September 18th – November 27th.
Show times to be confirmed.
We have a launch date!
After a week or two of trying to get the perfect date at the Kazimier, we’ve been given the 11th of September for our night of brain-breaking wonderment.
Oh yes.
